MULTIPURPOSE DESIGN: This queen Murphy bed can be folded away into a cabinet to open up floor space in any room. A wall bed is the ideal space-saving furniture for a multi-use guest room, home office, or home gym. A dual piston system folds the cabinet bed down quickly and smoothly so you can sleep comfortably at night while enjoying your space during the daytime.
PRACTICAL WALL BED: The dual-mount wall bed mechanism attaches to both the floor and wall for ease of assembly and maximum stability and durability. The queen size Murphy bed accommodates most standard queen mattresses (8-12 inches thick, 60-90 lb, 60 x 80 inches, no futons) to let you choose the most comfortable option (mattress not included, do not use with box spring).
UNPARALLELED SAFETY: Bestar Murphy Beds have been designed and tested in accordance with ISO 10131, a European standard we voluntarily follow that goes above and beyond domestic requirements. Rigorous in-house and independent testing ensures that each wall bed is safe for use in any living space. North American made with globally sourced materials; backed by a 10 year warranty.
ASSEMBLY AND REMINDERS: To minimize the chance of harm, a certified professional or skilled individual must securely attach the wall bed to the wall and floor structure. Assembly should be carried out by two individuals. The installation process entails fastening to wooden studs or brickwork, taking off the baseboard, and making floor drillings (if the unit needs to be taken apart, any drilled holes can be concealed with baseboards at least 0.5 inches thick). All required hardware is provided. This product should not be used for children or animals weighing less than 50 pounds (22.7 kg).
Engineered Wood
COMFORTABLE: The mattress support features flexible slats that follow the curves of the body and absorb pressure for maximum comfort. This space saving bed can be slept on every night and works perfectly in a small apartment or studio. The hide away bed is easy to use; simply pull on the handles and flip the support leg down onto the floor. When planning your space, allow for a clearance of 30 to 36 inches around the open bed to make getting in and out easier.
